OUR MISSION
jkROCK Property Management began in 2014, started by Wisconsin natives Josh and Kayla Gierach. As apartment property owners in Dane County themselves, Josh and Kayla are sensitive to other property owners' needs and what they hope to get from their property management company.

THE COSTS
For property owners, the fees and costs of managing, maintaining, and improving a property are crucial considerations in the business. Our management fees are set up to completely align our interests with those of the owners by only charging a percentage of the gross revenue, thereby tying those costs directly to the income you receive. You don't pay extra for maintenance staff or any other services. Our primary motivation is focused on improving service for the residents and the upkeep of the property. As a result, we are increasing the return on your investment.
OUR STORY
More About Josh & Kayla
jkROCK was a dream of Josh's starting in his early 20's and took him close to 10 years of training, hard work, and planning to come to realize. Josh felt he had a calling to real estate and property management and not long after starting, realized he indeed loved it! When he took over his first property of 90 apartments in February of 2004, it had been poorly managed and was in rough shape. The property's overall poor management was causing numerous problems for the community and costing the owners considerable amounts of money every month. Josh went to work on this property and was happy to see the positive change in the community and the difference it made in people's lives, not to mention the significantly improved occupancy rate and bottom line. He has been hooked ever since.
In 2011, Kayla teamed up with Josh. Using her background in visual communications, they were able to bring their skills of leadership, service, design, organization, and creativity together. Side by side, they worked to manage properties together.
After ten years of working hard as property managers and developers, Josh and Kayla had purchased 80 apartments, enough properties to start their management company. In January of 2014, jkROCK Property Management was born and now serves Madison and throughout Dane County, Wisconsin.
Over the next 5 years they grew to over 800 apartments throughout the Madison, WI area. With the goal of doing almost everything in house, they went from 1 employee to about 50.
Now, they have been doing this over 20 years and have invested in properties around the USA and the world. They are still passionate about turning struggling properties around and creating places of peace, safety, and "home".
